Poker Central, the ultimate destination for fans of poker tournaments, cash games, and lifestyle away from the tables, and 888poker signed a sponsorship deal that has one of the world’s most popular online gaming entertainment providers returning to the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl for the second consecutive year.
The exclusive, $300,000 buy-in event takes place at ARIA Resort & Casino May 28 through June 1 with additional Poker Central events to be announced. The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl features both defending champions, Brian Rast (2015) and Rainer Kempe (2016), return for another shot at the title, on top of a slew of big-name players such as Poker Central ambassadors Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth, Tom Marchese and the aforementioned Rast.
“We are privileged to again partner with 888poker – globally-recognized poker brand – to position them on the biggest stage in high-stakes poker action,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central. “We look forward to expanding our great relationship with 888poker and working toward our common goal of growing the sport of poker.”
The agreement places 888poker with a number of broadcast integrations at the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl, including 888poker ambassador Kara Scott hosting the largest buy-in event of the year. Dominik Nitsche, an 888poker ambassador, already has his seat locked up with 55 other players. Nitsche's one of the nine German players in this year's Super High Roller Bowl.
“The Super High Roller Bowl is truly one of the highest quality events out there. Poker Central does a lot of great things for poker and I am thrilled to see 888poker working closely with them,“ said Nitsche, “The Super High Roller Bowl is a unique event you cannot miss, and I am definitely excited to be kicking off the summer with this tournament.”
Itai Pazner, SVP head of B2C, 888holdings, said, “Poker Central’s productions offer high-level poker action with world-class poker players. The Super High Roller Bowl is an extremely prestigious event which is followed by a wide and varied audience of poker fans around the world. 888poker is pleased to continue with its strong commitment to its players in giving everyone the chance to access such high-caliber content. We are thrilled to be renewing our ongoing partnership with Poker Central and look forward to what will no doubt be an epic event.”
